Thank you for your interest in Huaxing Chinese School! To help us plan classes, assign teachers, and reserve classroom space, we encourage all families to complete registration as early as possible. 感谢您对华星中文学校的支持！为了方便学校安排教师、教室及课程设置，请家长尽早完成注册。您的注册信息将帮助学校更准确地规划课程及教学资源。
Important Notes ｜ 重要说明
• Registration helps the school plan class sizes, assign teachers, reserve classroom space, and order textbooks and instructional materials. Families are encouraged to register as early as possible. 提前注册有助于学校统计班级人数、安排教师、预订教室，以及预订教材和教学资料。欢迎家长尽早完成注册。
• Classes will be offered based on enrollment demand and instructor availability. Classes with fewer than five enrolled students may be combined, adjusted, or canceled. Families will be notified in advance if changes are necessary. 课程开设将根据报名人数及教师安排情况确定。部分课程如报名人数少于5人，学校可能调整课程安排、合班或取消开课，并提前通知家长。
• Some popular classes may have limited enrollment and may close once capacity is reached. Class placement and enrollment priority may be based on the order in which registrations are received. 部分热门课程名额有限，满额后可能提前停止招生。学校可能根据注册先后顺序安排班级及保留课程名额。
• Registration also helps the school order Chinese textbooks and learning materials. Students who do not register in advance may not be guaranteed immediate access to textbooks if supplies are limited. 提前注册有助于学校预订中文教材及教学资料。对于未提前注册的学生，如教材数量有限，学校可能无法保证及时提供教材。
• Tuition must be paid no later than the second class session of the academic year. 学费最迟须于学年第二次上课前完成缴纳。
🌺 新学期注册：
1️⃣，一家人，只要名字不同，需填写不同的报名表。
例如：小金报课、小金女儿报课、小金儿子报课等，分别填写三个报名表。
2️⃣，今年报名继续采取一年一报（秋季春季一起报）。如有搬家或其他合理原因，或老师个人原因，可中途退课、退款。
3️⃣，8月23日开学，华星提供免费一节课的试听机会。
4️⃣，每门课需要5名及以上人员开课，如果少于五人，学校会提前通知是否提高学费或取消课程。
5️⃣，华星中文学校是非盈利机构，欢迎大家转发华星的课程介绍给您身边的朋友，希望人数足够，大家都能学到想要的课程。🙏
🌺新政策：
每个家庭注册时需单独缴纳$50志愿者服务押金（Volunteer Deposit）。如每学期需完成 3 次志愿者值班服务, 学校将在学年结束时，退还$50志愿者服务押金，或应家长要求，将该金额作为下一学年的学费抵扣。未完成规定值班要求的家庭，$50志愿者服务押金将不予退还，感谢大家的热心帮忙。

网上报名后，请自行计算：
1️⃣ 学费:包括课程费和书本费(美洲华语教材：$20 含课本+练习册+识字卡）
2️⃣ 志愿者服务押金：请将 $50 单独支付，付款时，请在备注（Memo）中注明：”一家所有student names +volunteer deposit” ，以便学校准确记录您的付款。

开学后，我们也会在学校收取。
🌺 Register
1. How to register
Each family member with a different name must submit a separate registration form.
Example:
Mr. Jin registers → 1 form
Jin’s daughter registers → 1 form
Jin’s son registers → 1 form
A total of 3 registration forms are required.
2. Annual Registration
Registration is once per school year (Fall and Spring semesters are registered together).
If a family needs to withdraw due to relocation, a teacher’s schedule change, or other reasonable circumstances, tuition may be refunded according to the school’s refund policy.
3. Free Trial Class
The school year begins on August 23.
Each student may attend one free trial class before making a final enrollment decision.
4. Minimum Enrollment
Each class requires at least 5 students to open.
If fewer than five students enroll, the school will notify families in advance whether:
the tuition will be adjusted, or
the class will be canceled.

🌺 New Policy: Volunteer Deposit
Each family is required to pay a $50 Volunteer Deposit at the time of registration.
Each family is expected to complete three volunteer shifts per semester.
At the end of the school year, families who fulfill their volunteer commitment may choose to:
receive the $50 deposit back, or
apply it as a credit toward next year’s tuition.
Families who do not complete the required volunteer service will forfeit the $50 Volunteer Deposit.

🌺 Payment Instructions
After submitting the online registration form, please calculate your total payment as follows:
1. Tuition
Tuition includes:
Course fee
Textbook fee (Huayu Textbooks: $20, including the textbook, workbook, and character flashcards)
2. Volunteer Deposit
Please submit the $50 Volunteer Deposit as a separate payment.
In the payment memo, please write: “All student names + Volunteer Deposit”
so we can accurately record your payment.
